Chris Duplessis is the dynamic Founder and Managing Partner of ULegal Family Law Group, a firm dedicated to elevating family law practice with a compassionate and client-centred approach. Renowned for his sharp strategic vision and commanding courtroom demeanour, Chris has built a celebrated career advocating fiercely for families navigating complex legal challenges.
Since his call to the British Columbia Bar in 1999, Chris has passionately transformed the landscape of family law. In 2005, he founded Duplessis Law, driven by a vision to deliver legal services with genuine care and empathy. Under his leadership, the firm has experienced remarkable growth, evolving into ULegal Family Law Group in 2025, solely focused on family law excellence.
Chris approaches each family law case steadfastly, prioritizing his clients’ well-being. His determination and strategic prowess make him an indomitable force in the courtroom, while his negotiation and mediation skills ensure fair resolutions that help families move forward positively.

Chris is passionate about embracing life’s adventures outside his legal practice. He enjoys dining out and travelling with his wife, off-roading and camping with his son, and spending time boating, hiking, running, and weight-lifting.
